The tree-lined street to the right of center is Lonsdale Ave., going from the waterfront up to 11th street.
Then there is a plateau from 12th St. to 20th St., the real downtown North Van, with City Hall, library,
Lions Gate Hospital and shops, restaurants and malls. Growing up fast.
