Right behind the sardines, there were half chickens on the spit. Lots of people standing under the
sidewalk awnings with a plate of chicken bones in hand, licking their lips and murmering "excellent."
The bus stop was beside the white apartment building in the background, so I set off dodging the
downpour with little success, but it's a dry rain, we say.
